Eve in The Garden
Was it not Eve who realized first the plan,
Who in that perfect isolate,
Partook before the man
For she, wiser than her eternal mate,
Committed proper sacrifice,
And did trust what must be ate.
Our first mother saw beyond that place,
And choose what must be done.
Like so many mother’s now do face
Their choices mimic that first one.
The world does but scoff and scorn,
What value do they bare,
These mothers who to home are sworn.
Do often suffer there.
